About Jay

Jay is grateful to be part of the Center’s mission to support community wellness through movement and mindfulness. A former collegiate athlete, Jay turned to yoga after years of injuries and surgeries. Over the past six years, daily practice has helped him heal, build resilience, and find clarity.

He completed the 50-hour Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra training through Yoga San Kalpa / Yoga on the Vine, and his classes blend gentle, fascia-focused stretching with breathwork and stillness. Jay offers chair-friendly options and encourages students of all levels to move at their own pace. For more experienced yogis, deeper mobility work is gently woven in.

Outside the studio, Jay is active in housing justice advocacy and continues legal studies as a self-represented litigant in state and federal courts.
